Michael T. Niemier is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He began his academic career at Georgia Tech before returning to Notre Dame. Niemier is a "triple Domer," earning his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Notre Dame in 1998, 2000, and 2004 respectively.
